Corey A. Stephens
Artistic Director

Corey Stephens is the Artistic Director and one of the original founders of RebelYard. Corey studied Communications and Theatre at Temple University before going to Drexel University to pursue his B.S. in Screenwriting and Playwriting. Corey has work extensively at various levels within Philadelphia's theatre community, and is an active screenwriter and playwright. His screenplay Seeking Paradise won a Parisi Award; and his screenplay Faces was considered at the Sundance Institute, before becoming a finalist at both the Austin Film Festival and Nicholl's Fellowship. Corey also wrote and directed RebelYard's inaugural reading of The Platform. Corey is happy to be a rebel and ready to bring TheYard to a stage near you.


Kendra Dobson
Director of Marketing and PR

Kendra Dobson is the Director of Marketing and Public Relations at the Yard, and has served as a member since RebelYard's founding in 2010.  Currently based in Philadelphia, Kendra produces tv segments, film projects, and theater projects in the area.  She has a Bachelor's of Science in Playwriting & Screenwriting from Drexel University where she also earned minors in Video Production, Art History, and Theater, as well as a Certificate in Professional Writing & Publishing.  Kendra is proud to be a member of RebelYard Theatre Collective, and proud of the work that goes into bringing theatre to those who are unrepresented in commercial media.  

Iraisa Ann Reilly
Development Associate
   
  Iraisa Ann Reilly is an actor and writer working throughout Philadelphia and New Jersey. Her recent work includes acting in Walnut Street Theatre's touring outreach program.  She graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a B.A. in Theatre and English, and began her career with Rebelyard as Nora Daniels in the November 2011 production of Cocaine. Iraisa Ann is a Development Intern for Philadelphia Theatre Company. She hopes to focus her career on theatre that brings light to social concerns, and is excited to be part of the Rebelyard family as the development associate in fulfilling this mission.  
Lauren Fitzgerald 
Marketing Associate 
 
 Lauren Elysse Fitzgerald is a Philadelphia transplant by way of Memphis, TN. She went to college at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville where she majored in Theatre and Africana studies with a focus in the literature of the African Diaspora. Having recently completed the apprentice program at the Walnut Street Theatre as a Dorothy Haas Acting Apprentice, Lauren has claimed Philadelphia home as a freelance theatre administrator, singer, spoken word artist, and teaching artist. Other professional highlights include being the artistic associate at The Carpetbag Theater in Knoxville TN, and being the fundraising coordinator for Black Sunshine Art and entertainment. But, the main thing you need to know about her, is that she's rebilious by nature (with a little goofy sprinkled on top for good measure)!

Chelsea Sanz 
Artistic Associate
 
 Chelsea Sanz is a Philadelphia based freelance theatre director.  Chelsea received a BFA with honors from the University of the Arts. Chelsea has directed at  Manhattan Repertory Theatre, Walnut Studio 5,  The Shubin Theatre, The Painted Bride Arts Center, The Ethical Society, The Arts Parlor and The University of the Arts. In addition, Chelsea is an Equity Stage Manager and  a producer/dramaturg of new works. Chelsea is proud to be a part of RebelYard .  www.chelseasanz.com

Deborah Yarchun

As a playwright, Deborah Yarchun’s production credits include Theater Masters’ National MFA Playwrights Festival (The Wild Project), the Young Playwrights Festival XXIV (Playwrights Horizons) and the Philadelphia Fringe Festival. She is a finalist for the Humana Festival’s Heideman Award. Her plays have been developed through the Great Plains Theater Conference, WordBRIDGE, Rattlestick Playwrights Theatre, Sanctuary Playwrights Theater, and the Kennedy Center’s American College Theatre Festival. Deborah is a 2013 MFA Candidate at the Iowa Playwrights Workshop where she is an Iowa Arts Fellow.
Peter Bonilla

Latisha M. Jones
Latisha Jones is a theater artist and educator. She received her master's degree in Educational Theater from New York University and her bachelor's degree in Screenwriting and Playwriting from Drexel University. She has written several 10-minute, 1- Act and full-length plays and recently had her play produced at New York's Snapple Theater. As an educator, she is dedicated to multi-cultural education and exploring our collective humanity through the arts. She is excited to join the RebelYard and looks forward to making theater with them that advances the RebelYard mission.
